In partnership with the Conejo Recreation and Park District, Ride On is very proud to manage the Rancho Potrero Community Equestrian Center.  We provide accessible and affordable opportunities for recreational, competitive and educational activities in a variety of equestrian disciplines that encourage the growth and development of all equestrians and would-be equestrians.

We provide ongoing introductory horseback riding classes, a robust beginner/intermediate lesson program and ongoing education opportunities for Girls and Boy Scouts and other youth organizations.  We offer a trail ride program, team building and we also provide scenic hay wagon rides to enjoy the incredible wildflowers that bloom throughout the amazing open space.  We host schooling dressage shows, the 1-day CALNET show and other educational clinics throughout the year.  We are also an evacuation facility for large and small animals for those in need during natural disasters.  During the 2025 LA wildfires we took in 68 horses, donkeys, goats and a miniature cow!

Safe Passage Youth Foundation

We absolutely love partnering with this amazing organization!  For most of these kids it is the first time they have ever touched a horse let alone ridden one!  Ride On spends the day giving them opportunities to groom, interact and ride and we take them on hay wagon rides to experience the beautiful open space that surrounds us at Rancho Potrero!

Safe Passage Youth bridges the educational, safety and economic gaps between struggling families & the community they live in. Before a child celebrates entering middle school, they need thousands of positive interactions. Safe Passage kick starts relationships early in Kinder grade and all the way through primary school.  We are so proud that our horses can help “Be The Change.”

National Turner Syndrome Camp

Another favorite day of the year for us is hosting the lovely young ladies from the National Turner Syndrome Camp where we see their joy and excitement interacting with our horses. This event brings smiles and lasting memories for everyone involved.  Last summer 41 young ladies attended the camp, making it one of the most successful gatherings we've hosted.  We look forward to their annual visit and we are a highlight of their time spent in LA!

Trailfest

Trailfest is hands down our very favorite day of the year!  In partnership with Ride On a team of horses, staff and volunteers, take over 100 Ride On students on a unique opportunity to experience an exciting and beautiful trail ride out of Rancho Potrero Community Equestrian Center.

Dozens of dedicated volunteers help riders throughout the day, keeping busy with tack changes, leading horses, providing support for riders with poor balance, and ensuring a safe, fun experience as they ride the trails.  Ride On provides adaptive riding opportunities for children and adults with disabilities and this is one of their most absolute favorite days of the year!
